portable studio and the portrait

The portable studio like the other constructed studios appeals  to the cult of the artist.

This studio might ask more questions about where than what. The product coincidental. With the portable studio the artist is free to draw comparisons between the environment and the role of production. In that manner the portable studio can choose to work with irony and clash. If the portable studio was set up in a mall or next to a shipyard what is the difference? If I drew the same picture in both places does their contextual background make them distinct?
